A New Launch for the New Year: Fertility Preservation at Pacific Fertility Center

Egg freezing, also known fertility preservation, is a “hot” new topic that has turned the notion of a female ‘biological clock’ on its head. The process allows women to delay conception until they are ready to have a child by freezing their eggs and storing them for later use. To meet the rapidly growing needs of patients in the San Francisco Bay Area, the talented team at Pacific Fertility Center decided to create site dedicated specifically to egg freezing. IV Interactive was tasked with building a web site that was both informative and appealing to this very unique, and technology-savvy demographic.

The new Fertility Preservation at Pacific Fertility Center website offers users an exciting educational experience with an aesthetic that is clean, fun, and easy to interact with. Each decision on design and technology used throughout the project illustrates the high priority that was placed on Pacific Fertility Center's objectives. IV Interactive designed the site with a mobile-first approach, and used retina images for optimal display on high-pixel screens. By using a new CMS, the website’s pages are served faster, helping to maintain user attention and engagement. In choosing a masonry style blog, the site provides different styles and sizes to choose from to vary the look of the homepage. The site has been well received since launch, and will grow over time with useful and valuable information on this important topic.
